After a somewhat mild start to our week, old man winter makes a return to SW'rn NC on the heels of a passing cold front this evening. A few showers are possible in advance of the front late this evening. Today was mild but colder air arrives tonight. The cold weather sticks around with us into the first half of the weekend with moderating temps as we head into the latter half. That trend continues into the start of next week with our next chance of rain late Monday and into the day on Tuesday.

A cold front will arrive by this evening sparking a few showers. The daytime hours were mild, but the cold air arrives tonight. This colder period will be with us from Wednesday night through Saturday night.
While chilly, it will also be dry through Sunday. Moderating temperatures will return for Sunday afternoon and that trend continues into the start of the new workweek with rain chances returning by Monday afternoon and Tuesday.
