The Sunshine Returns; Continued Quite Mild

Skies staying mostly sunny during the afternoon, and temperatures will remain unseasonably mild. Saturday will be a bright and sunny day with pleasant temperatures. It will get cooler on Sunday.

Forecast Discussion

Skies have cleared behind a cold front heading for eastern NC this afternoon. It was a yucky start, but a "feel-good" Friday is now in the works. Temperatures will remain above-normal.

Saturday looks like a beautiful day with more pleasant temperatures. A cold front will pass through here dry Saturday night, encouraging a cooler Sunday. Early next week will begin on a cool note, but we’ll have moderation thereafter.

The next cold front will get close enough to promote some chances for rain by late Wednesday and into Thursday.
